NA CARES (Noah’s Ark CARES) was formed in June 2005 as a society and gained the Charity status and Institutions of a Public Character (IPC) in 2016 which allows donations made by individuals and companies, tax deductible.
The main cause of NA CARES is to Trap, Neuter, Release and Manage (TNRM) stray animals to humanely control the stray population in Singapore. Working in tandem with the local government agency and other animal welfare groups (AWGs), we aim to have a stray-free Singapore in years to come.
The two TNRM projects handled by volunteers are “Project Industrial Dogs” (PID) and “Project Cat Snip” (PCS). In addition to the industrial areas, NA CARES is actively involved in the Jurong Island Project initiated by a Minister. The Jurong Island Project entails TNR and the welfare management of the strays (food, water, medical needs, rehoming, etc.).
